From the powerful intro and huge build to the wild ending and last moan, Whisper of the Garden's new song, "Elixir" oozes sensuality. This song is sure to capture your attention right away and keep it all the way through.

The song features a very hard driving house dance beat crafted with beautiful chordal changes like only Whisper can do, and a melodic line that really shows off Whisper's incredible voice! And to top it off the song is punctuated with sighs and moans that really get your heart racing.

Whisper of the Garden releases new song - Lacrymosa

Singer / Songwriter "Whisper of the Garden" has just recently released a new single called "Lacrymosa". The song is an amazingly dark journey with Whisper as the guide. It is based on the traditional Lacrymosa from the Catholic Mass with Lacrymosa meaning "sorrowful or tearful". The song begins, "Let me take you on a journey to a sea that has no shore. Dancing shadows feed on sorrows a tender kiss is felt no more..... Lacrymosa, Dies Irae, do you hear their cries, falling through flames that reach a bloodied sky...."

The music is reminiscent of Goth Metal meets Quentin Tarantino. Add to that Whisper's powerful voice and avante-guarde instrumentation, this a song that everyone should hear.
It's a powerful, moving song with a message. - 5 stars!

Review of Artists on Reverb Nation

I recently stumbled upon a growing new website for up and coming artists called "Reverb Nation" (http://www.reverbnation.com/). This is an amazing site that offers unsigned and signed artists a chance to post their music, videos, and pictures - as well as post their performance schedule. The site allows artists to track their progress by keeping local and global charts based on number of fans, number of plays, etc.



While looking at the site, I saw all of the your standard fare, heavy metal, death metal, bubble gum pop, country, folk, etc. There is literally something for everyone there. However, for me it is hard to surpass an artist like "Whisper of the Garden"!



Whisper of the Garden is a new singer/songwriter from the US who writes, records, performs, and produces all of her own material. The songs are all varied and amazing. The newest tracks listed are called "Spellbound" and "The Sphinx". They combine Hard Driving Drum and Bass Techno with Middle Eastern melodies and amazing vocals and harmonies from "Whisper"
Besides that, the lyrics are wonderfully seductive.

In her Bio on Reverb Nation it says that she studied Opera with famed opera diva Gianna D'Angelo and it is obvious from her ability to control her voice though the sometimes acrobatic vocal lines in her songs. Whisper’s sensual voice has attracted global fans who describe her music as intoxicating and visionary. As a composer, she is known for her fusion of musical styles, myths, and romantic ideals. In 2008, she was honored by the UN for helping "build a culture of peace globally"


Well as for me, I am totally taken in by this Siren's voice and I recommend wholeheartedly that you check her out as well. Links to her pages follow:
